Supply chain management is receiving a lot of attention from businesses and academics because of its growing importance. Many significant findings and results had been made. This book is a compilation of the most recent studies in supply chain management from around the world. New ideas, fresh findings, and first-hand knowledge of this cutting-edge subject are all part of the plan for this publication. The entire supply chain system is considered in supply chain management research, including all activities and processes such as planning, coordination, operation, control, and optimization. There are a number of factors that influence supply chain efficiency that we’ve identified within the strategic framework. This book also shows how these drivers may be applied in supply chain design, planning, and operation in order to increase performance. This is the second purpose of our book. To demonstrate how Seven-Eleven Japan makes use of a variety of drivers to enhance supply chain performance, this book also comprises a case study on the convenience store chain. Each supply chain performance driver, we aim to present readers with practical managerial levers and concepts that may be leveraged to enhance supply chain performance.
